We are seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist who will play a vital role in delivering exceptional oral health care. This position is now available as our current hygienist is retiring after years of exemplary service, creating an opportunity for a new team member to step in and continue our tradition of excellence.
As a crucial part of our practice, you will work closely with the dentist and establish meaningful relationships with our patients. You will be responsible for performing thorough cleanings, applying preventive care techniques, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting with X-rays and other diagnostic procedures.
The ideal candidate will hold an accredited dental hygiene degree and possess a valid license to practice. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude are essential, as you will create a welcoming environment that fosters patient comfort and trust. We value ongoing professional development; therefore, we encourage participation in continuing education opportunities.
This part-time position primarily requires availability on Mondays 9 AM to 6 PM, with the possibility of extending hours to 7 PM or 8 PM based your availability. You will enjoy a dedicated lunch break of 1 hour for workdays ending at 6 PM, or 1.5 hours for longer days, ensuring you have the time to recharge for the next patient.
