Harbour Dental Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our patient-focused, fast-paced dental practice. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding care in a supportive and professional environment, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform expanded functions such as placing restorations, taking impressions, and applying sealants and fluoride (as allowed by state regulations)
• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and operatory rooms
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, pre- and post-operative care
• Document patient records accurately and efficiently
• Take digital x-rays and intraoral photos
• Contribute to a positive and efficient workflow within the clinical team

Qualifications:
• Current EFDA certification
• Radiology and CPR certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience (EFDA experience preferred)
• Familiarity with dental software Denticon is a plus
• Excellent chairside manner, communication, and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
