Position Available: Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team in a thriving general dental practice. This is a part-time position, ideal for a skilled professional looking to contribute to an environment that fosters patient care and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Performing thorough dental prophylaxis, including scaling and polishing teeth, applying fluoride treatments, and administering sealants.
- Conducting comprehensive oral examinations and reviewing patient medical histories to assess dental health and identify potential issues.
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care.
- Assisting the dentist in providing clinical care, including taking and developing X-rays, charting findings, and providing necessary follow-up instructions to patients.
- Maintaining an organized and efficient treatment environment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
- Building strong relationships with patients to encourage their ongoing care and trust in our practice.

Qualifications:

- A valid dental hygiene license is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental setting is preferred; candidates with exceptional new graduate credentials will also be considered.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures and treatments clearly to patients.
- A keen attention to detail, along with a friendly and compassionate demeanor.

Work Environment:

Our practice is committed to delivering the highest standards of dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment. You will enjoy a one-hour lunch break and have access to convenient parking in the lot behind the office.

Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with experience.
