Full time dental hygienist

We are seeking a full-time dental hygienist to join a well-established, privately owned general dental practice with a strong reputation for quality care and a supportive team culture. This opening is available as a result of our current hygienist’s retirement, creating an excellent opportunity to step into a respected role with a loyal patient base and a stable, long-standing team.

There are no production quotas, no pressure to sell treatment, and no expectation to rush through appointments. Instead, we focus on giving each patient the time, attention, and respect they deserve.

The ideal candidate will bring excellent patient communication and care, along with a commitment to helping patients feel comfortable and informed. We welcome candidates at any experience level, including those early in their career who are eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment. The role includes one patient at a time, with typically 60-minute adult recall appointments and 90-minute new patient visits, allowing for thorough care and meaningful patient relationships. A one-hour scheduled lunch break is provided.

Responsibilities include prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal treatment, gingivitis treatment, fluoride treatment, calculus removal, oral hygiene instruction, patient education, pediatric hygiene, nitrous oxide administration, and digital x-rays. Experience with Open Dental, Carestream, DEXIS, and NOMAD Pro is valued. CPR certification is required, and all team members are supplied with nitrile gloves and regular masks.
