We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our well-established general dentistry practice, serving our community since the mid-1970s. In this full-time role, you will work closely with a single dentist and a supportive team, including one full-time hygienist, another full-time dental assistant, and a treatment coordinator to provide exceptional patient care in a warm and inviting environment.
Key responsibilities will include chairside assistance, taking alginate impressions, dental charting, appointment scheduling, and assisting in procedures such as temporary crown fabrication and cord packing. Your strong customer service skills will help ensure a positive experience for our patients. Familiarity with dental terminology and experience using Denticon and intraoral cameras is a plus.
Our office values safety and provides all necessary personal protective equipment, including disposable gowns, face shields, and both latex and nitrile gloves. Applicants should have a minimum of one year of dental assistant experience. Cross-training for some front desk duties is beneficial and will be part of your development. Being punctual and organized are extremely important!
