Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our dental team, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients feel comfortable before their evaluations. Your duties will include conducting comprehensive oral cancer screenings and identifying conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis. You will clean and protect patients’ teeth while educating individuals of all ages on proper oral hygiene practices. Additionally, you will take X-rays and dental scans, assist dentists in selecting appropriate treatments, maintain accurate documentation and charts, and monitor dental supplies to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:
Candidates must possess an associate degree in dental hygiene and hold a valid license to practice. A minimum of one year of dental hygiene experience is required, with a preference for candidates with two or more years. You should have thorough knowledge of adult and child prophylaxis and non-surgical periodontal therapy, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the profession (e.g., HIPAA) is essential, as is experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment. We value attention to detail, a friendly demeanor, and a patient-centered approach.
