Registered Dental Hygienist – Specialty Practice (Perio & Endo)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing (SRP), digital radiographs (X-rays), and local anesthesia.
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation of patient care in line with HIPAA, OSHA, and office protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventive strategies for long-term periodontal health.
- Implement and adhere to infection control and sterilization protocols to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with doctors and supporting staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to a positive, efficient, and professional office atmosphere.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active NYS Registered Dental Hygienist License (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (required)
- Experience with periodontal hygiene procedures (SRP, local anesthesia) and digital radiography
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable educating patients and collaborating with the team
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical care
