Hygienist
LOCATION
New York, NYOur office is looking for a part-time registered dental hygienist to join our team!
We are a small, one doctor practice in Murray Hill, Manhattan. We are looking for a friendly, punctual and perceptive hygienist to join our team two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:00am to 3:00pm (expected hours per week: 14). Our schedule is flexible and we are open to one day a week or reduced hours if necessary.
Each appointment is alloted 45 minutes in which time the hygienist will be expected to:
- Review patient history
- Take digital x-rays (dentimax experience appreciated) when necessary
- Perform thorough and painless dental prophylaxis
- Conduct screenings for oral cancer, periodontitis and other dental diseases
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Update (paper) progress notes
- Prepare and distribute to-go bags for patients
- Sterelize room and equiptment before the arrival of the next patient
Our office will provide you:
- Nitrile gloves
- Surgical gown
- Face sheild
- Face masks
- Right-arm chair
- Kurig coffee
Benefits:

Pay: $50 - $57 an hour
