Join Our Team as a Dental Hygienist!

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our thriving general dental practice on a part-time basis. Our team is committed to providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and fostering a warm and welcoming environment. Start time is 9am-12pm with a 1 hour lunch break 1pm-5pm. Parking is located at the front of the building. Experience with Dentrix Ascend is a major plus.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in our patients’ dental journeys. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Performing thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis
- Conducting detailed assessments of patients’ oral health, including X-ray interpretation
- Educating patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Collaborating with dentists and other team members to develop individualized treatment plans
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

- A valid dental hygiene license and certification in [state-specific requirements]
- A minimum of 10 years of clinical experience in dental hygiene, particularly in a general practice setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike
