Orthodontics Dental Assistant

Full-time (4 days/week) or part-time (3 days/week) Orthodontics Dental Assistant Position!

Our Private Practice is very close to Haslet, about 20 mins from North Fort Worth, 20 mins from Denton and Flower mound.

Hours: Mon- Fri from 8:45 am - 6 pm. No weekends

Pay- $26-$32/hour and based on experience. Minimum 1 years ortho RDA experience preferred.

Duties:
- Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for orthodontic procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Uphold HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions

Qualifications and Requirements:
Must have a valid Texas Dental Assisting license.
Positive and outgoing personality, exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Excellent patient care skills
Strong organizational skills
Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Ability to build rapport with patients
Good manual dexterity
Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs
X-ray certification (required if applicable)

Education and Experience:
Texas Registration Certificate for Dental Assistants
Current CPR certification
At-least years of working experience in a Dental Practice
Coronal Polishing Certificate is a plus!
