Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies tailored to individual needs.
Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments using chairside assisting skills.
Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining strict infection control protocols.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Monitor and review medical records for completeness, ensuring proper documentation review and medical coding accuracy.
Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control standards to promote a safe clinical environment.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Eaglesoft or a similar software for efficient documentation and scheduling.
Support pediatric dentistry procedures when applicable, demonstrating specialized knowledge in pediatrics (i.e. Sealants).
Follow all protocols related to medical imaging, vital signs measurement, and patient care to enhance overall treatment quality.
Compensation range includes bonus structure compensation.

Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with current certification.
Proven experience in general dentistry with a focus on patient care and dental hygiene procedures.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or a similar software for documentation management.
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations concerning patient privacy and medical records confidentiality.
Experience working within pediatric dentistry or pediatric patient care is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.
Ability to perform dental assisting tasks such as chairside assisting when necessary, demonstrating versatility in clinical support roles.
