Lead RDA Position

At FLOSS Midtown, we're looking for an experienced Lead Registered Dental Assistant to become a key leader within our Midtown practice. This isn't just another assisting position, it's an opportunity to help shape the culture, train team members, and work alongside doctors who value efficiency, teamwork, and high-quality patient care.
What You'll Do
As our Lead RDA, you will:
Lead the clinical team through daily patient care and workflow
Assist doctors during restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and general dentistry procedures
Mentor and train new dental assistants
Ensure treatment rooms are fully prepared and stocked
Take digital X-rays, impressions, intraoral scans, and clinical photos
Maintain OSHA and infection control standards
Help improve efficiency and patient flow throughout the day
Collaborate closely with the front office to provide an outstanding patient experience
Lead by example with professionalism, positivity, and accountability
What We're Looking For
Required
Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License
At least 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong multitasking abilities
Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
Bonus Points If You Have
Leadership or Lead RDA experience
Experience training or mentoring assistants
Open Dental experience
Surgical, implant, or cosmetic dentistry experience
