We have an immediate part-time opening for an experienced Dental Hygienist at our privately owned general dental practice. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to provide the highest quality of dental care, with a strong emphasis on customer service. As a key member of our dental hygiene team, you will play a vital role in our commitment to patient care and education, helping to foster long-lasting professional relationships with families in our community.
In this part-time position, your daily responsibilities will include standard hygiene practices such as gathering patient information, taking x-rays, and cleaning and polishing teeth. You will also conduct oral disease screenings, apply fluoride varnishes and sealants, and educate patients on effective oral hygiene habits to maintain optimal oral health. Ensuring that patient records are updated accurately, including dental and medical histories, will be an essential part of your role, as well as the sterilization of dental instruments and equipment.
Our practice utilizes the latest dental technologies, and familiarity with Dentrix Dental Software, taking digital x-rays, intraoral pictures, and performing intraoral scans will be an advantage. We seek a passionate Registered Dental Hygienist who possesses a current state license and x-ray certification. An excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures and products, coupled with knowledge of sterilization techniques, is essential.
