Hygienists Needed (Tuesdays and/or Monday-Thursday)

We are seeking a motivated dental hygienist to join our growing general and private dental practice. We are looking for 1-2 days or 4-days in a well-established office where patient care, teamwork, and professionalism are highly valued. Drs. Raymond and Sheri Cros have been practicing dentistry for over 20 years and are recognized among the top dentists in the area. Our practice offers comprehensive care with a focus on metal-free fillings, periodontal therapy, implant placement, Zirconia and Emax crowns, veneers, and root canal therapy.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 1 year of experience beyond an RDH program and demonstrate excellent patient communication skills. We are looking for someone who is confident, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality preventive and periodontal care in a supportive environment. Our team works collaboratively to create a relaxed atmosphere for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities include performing prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal screening and treatment, gingivitis screening and treatment, fluoride treatment, calculus removal, ultrasonic scaling, and oral hygiene instruction. Additional responsibilities include dental charting, patient education, patient records documentation, X-rays using digital systems, and use of instruments and technologies such as Dentrix, Gendex, Schick, intraoral camera, VELscope, and lasers. Experience with local anesthesia, nitrous oxide administration and monitoring, sterile procedures, and therapies such as antibiotic therapy, antimicrobial placement, Arestin, Atridox, chlorhexidine, irrigation agents, Oraqix, and periodontal maintenance protocols is highly valued.

This role requires strong attention to detail, confidence in clinical judgment, and a commitment to infection control. PPE provided includes disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, N95 masks, and nitrile gloves. The dental assistant team supports room setup, breakdown, and sterilization of instruments so you can focus on patient care. One patient is seen at a time, with a minimum of 45 minutes devoted to each appointment to allow for thorough, quality treatment. A one-hour lunch break is provided from 12–1.

Parking is conveniently available right out front of the practice. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $60 for the right candidate who is ready to grow with our team.
