Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Preventive Care
- Perform professional dental cleanings using Airflow technology and traditional techniques
- Perform gross debridements and scaling and root planing (SRPs) as prescribed by the doctor
- Conduct salivary diagnostic testing and educate guests on results
- Apply fluoride, Curodont, and other preventive treatments
- Provide whitening treatments and explain aftercare best practices
- Perform comprehensive oral health screenings, including periodontal charting and recession measurements, with all findings and treatment notes documented in the EMR
- Perform iTero scans and take Nomad X-rays as part of preventive or aligner workflows
- Support with night guard and retainer consultations, recommendations, and delivery
- Treatment Education & Sales Support
- Educate guests on Gleamery services, including packages, GleamFit Aligners, Gleam360 exams, SRPs, night guards, retainers, curodont, and preventive products
- Conduct GleamFit Aligner consultations and guide guests through the aligner treatment journey
- Recommend retail products (toothpaste, brushes, rinses, Curodont Protect, etc.) to support long-term oral health
- Guide guests through treatment recommendations to support same-day conversions
- Collaborate closely with the doctor and treatment team to ensure a smooth and confident guest journey
- Identify opportunities for additional services and communicate them to the guest
Schedule & Operational Support
- Help keep the schedule full and efficient by assisting with guest outreach, rebooking, and confirmations
- Ensure all intake paperwork, photos, and records are complete before treatment
- Assist in filling last-minute schedule gaps to optimize the day and drive efficiency
- Help turn over operatories and maintain a pristine, sterile environment after each guest
- Support sterilization and instrument processing in accordance with OSHA protocols
- Uphold HIPAA compliance
- Partner with the Guest Services team to deliver a consistent, top-tier guest experience
- Attend and contribute to team meetings and ongoing training sessions
About You

Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of California
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency in using dental software and electronic medical records (EMR)
