Key Responsibilities:

As our dental hygienist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

- Performing thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients, spending 60 minutes with each individual to ensure personalized care.
- Utilizing Dentrix software to maintain accurate patient records, schedule appointments, and track treatment progress.
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and providing tailored advice on maintaining optimal dental health.
- Collaborating with the dental team to develop treatment plans that meet each patient's unique needs.
- Adhering to infection control protocols and utilizing provided personal protective equipment (PPE), including latex gloves, nitrile gloves, and regular masks.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

- An associate degree in dental hygiene or equivalent education.
- A valid dental hygiene license.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a dental office setting, preferably within a general practice.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Proficiency in Dentrix software is essential.

Work Environment:

Our practice features a supportive team dynamic, where you will see one patient at a time, allowing you to focus on providing personalized care without the rush often found in busier offices. You will enjoy a one-hour lunch break to recharge between patients.
