Dental Hygienist - Part-Time Opportunity

Join our established private dental practice located in the heart of Lincoln Park, where we have proudly served our community for the past 35 years! With a strong commitment to the health and well-being of our patients, we are dedicated to providing personalized treatment plans that cater to individual needs—ranging from basic preventative care to comprehensive full-mouth reconstruction. As we prepare for the retirement of our current hygienist, we are excited to welcome a new member to our caring team.

We are seeking a personable and dedicated dental hygienist to support our patients with their oral health goals. In this part-time role, you will provide top-notch hygiene services, spending approximately 45 minutes with each patient in a one-on-one setting. Our practice is known for its organized and punctual operations, making each day run smoothly.

The ideal candidate will possess essential skills including Air Polishing, Calculus Removal, Cavitron, Local Anesthesia administration, and proficiency in Ultrasonic Scaling. Familiarity with Dentrix and DEXIS is a plus, as you will be utilizing these tools to streamline patient care. A strong emphasis is placed on the importance of Oral Hygiene Instruction and Soft Tissue Management, ensuring that our patients leave with a comprehensive understanding of their oral health. CPR certification is required.

Flexibility in scheduling is available, allowing you to balance your personal and professional life effectively.

While experience is preferred, we encourage candidates who are eager to contribute positively to our practice and are dedicated to enhancing patient care. For those working 30 hours or more per week, benefits will be provided, and the salary for this position is negotiable based on experience and teamwork abilities.
