Join Our Growing Dental Practice as a Dental Hygienist!

Are you an experienced dental hygienist looking for an opportunity to grow and thrive in a supportive environment? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our dynamic team. This full-time position encompasses both general dentistry and prosthodontics, allowing you to further enhance your expertise while providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

As a dental hygienist in our office, you will play a vital role in patient care and education. You will conduct thorough periodontal screenings, administer various treatments—including scaling and root planing, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments—and assist in maintaining accurate patient records. Your skills in antibiotic therapy, antimicrobial placement, and the use of advanced tools such as Cavitron and ultrasonic scalers will contribute to our commitment to optimal oral health.

You will also be responsible for performing oral cancer screenings, providing oral hygiene instruction, and ensuring patients feel comfortable during their visits through effective patient education and care. Our practice values teamwork, and as a team player, you will contribute to a positive work environment while collaborating with colleagues to ensure patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 7 years of experience in dental hygiene, preferably with proficiency in subgingival calculus removal and scaling and root planing (SRP). Being CPR certified is essential, and familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix and DEXIS is desirable.

Schedule & Benefits:

Our operating hours are Monday to Thursday, from 6:45 AM to 4:00 PM, with a dedicated 1-hour lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. This role allows for a patient-centered approach, as you will typically spend 60 minutes with each patient, ensuring thorough and attentive care.

Parking will be convenient, as it will be covered by the practice. You can park across the street at LAZ parking under the Coastal Hotel.
