We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Administrator / Insurance & Treatment Coordinator who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping patients understand and access the dental care they need.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients while confidently managing insurance benefits, treatment plans, and daily front office operations.
Responsibilities
• Welcome patients and provide an exceptional first impression.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments to maximize efficiency for patients and providers.
• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments.
• Prepare accurate treatment estimates based on insurance coverage.
• Present treatment plans and financial options in a clear, compassionate, and confident manner.
• Coordinate financing options and assist patients in understanding their payment responsibilities.
• Submit insurance claims and monitor outstanding claims for timely reimbursement.
• Follow up on unpaid claims, insurance denials, and requests for additional documentation.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond promptly to patient questions.
• Work closely with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and outstanding patient care.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental front office, with insurance and treatment coordination responsibilities preferred.
• Strong understanding of dental insurance plans, benefit verification, claim submission, and explanation of benefits (EOBs).
• Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements with patients.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (Eaglesoft experience preferred; experience with similar software considered).
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
