We are seeking a dependable, patient-focused dental assistant to join our growing general dentistry practice. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a private, single-doctor setting where teamwork, professionalism, and compassion are valued every day. The right candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and be comfortable in a cross-trained role supporting both clinical and front office duties.
Responsibilities include chairside assisting, four-handed and six-handed dentistry, instrument sterilization, infection control, dental charting, radiology, vital signs monitoring, and patient education. Additional duties may include appointment scheduling, insurance verification, inventory support, front desk coverage, and patient recall. Experience with Dentrix, Sirona, DEXIS, and iTero is preferred, along with skills in crowns, extractions, temporary crown fabrication, whitening tray fabrication, rubber dam placement, nitrous oxide monitoring, and oral hygiene instruction. Familiarity with cosmetic dentistry, implants, Invisalign, veneers, and fixed or removable prosthodontics is also helpful.
We offer a supportive, close-knit work environment with a one-hour lunch break on Tuesdays, PTO, vacation, and hourly pay. Our team uses disposable gowns, goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks for safety. Parking is available in the parking lot. High school education is expected. CPR certification is a plus.
