General dental hygienist position

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. You will provide high-quality preventative and therapeutic dental care, educate patients on oral hygiene, and perform other duties as assigned to support our dentists and ensure excellent patient experiences.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient screenings and assess oral health conditions.
• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing.
• Take and develop X-rays.
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and other oral hygiene techniques.
• Administer fluoride treatments and sealants as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and charts.
• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, sterilized, and properly equipped.

Qualifications:
• Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist with a current state license.
• Graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• At least two years of professional experience in a dental office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
