Join Our Exceptional Dental Team as a Dental Hygienist!

We are a well-established, family-owned general dental practice dedicated to providing outstanding care to our diverse patient base in Arcadia. Our office prides itself on using state-of-the-art equipment and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. We are currently seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team on Monday's and Friday's.

As a Dental Hygienist in our practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized care to our patients. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of practice settings, including General Dentistry, Periodontics, and Endodontics. Each hygiene appointment is designed to be thorough yet efficient, allowing for one-on-one time with each patient for a full hour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures including calculus removal, fluoride treatments, scaling and root planing, and periodontal screenings.
- Take digital radiographs using sensors, leveraging your experience with Gendex and Schick technology.
- Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and vital signs monitoring while utilizing Eaglesoft for patient management.
- Build rapport with patients to encourage a comfortable and trusting environment, demonstrating a co-diagnostic approach in partnership with the doctor.
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and utilizing ample personal protective equipment (PPE) such as N95 masks, face shields, and disposable gowns.

Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in dental hygiene.
- CPR certification and proficiency in local anesthesia are essential.
- Comfortable using dental technology including intraoral cameras and ultrasonic scaling devices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with patients.

We offer free on-site parking, sick pay, and uniforms. Compensation will be competitive and discussed directly with the doctor.
