Position Overview: Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice on a part-time basis. Our office operates in a general and multi-specialty environment, allowing for a diverse range of experiences and the opportunity to collaborate with various dental professionals. Key Responsibilities:

As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for delivering quality hygiene care to our patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their appointment. Your primary duties will include:

- Conducting comprehensive oral assessments and documenting patient history.
- Performing thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy, tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
- Providing education and guidance on oral hygiene practices, nutritional advice, and procedures to promote optimal dental health.
- Assisting the dental team with patient management and education initiatives, enhancing the overall patient experience.
- Collaborating with dentists and specialists to develop personalized care plans that align with our patients' health goals.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist in a general or multi-specialty practice.
- Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program and current state license to practice.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients and work effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in digital charting and dental software systems is a plus.
