Dental Assistant

Posh Pearl Family Dental Studio is seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This role will primarily focus on chairside assisting and supporting back office operations. However, the ideal candidate should also be able to assist the office manager in front office tasks as needed, such as answering phones and scheduling patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is versatile and eager to grow with a thriving practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during various procedures
Prepare treatment areas and patients for dental procedures
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Assist in taking x-rays and managing patient records
Assist the office manager with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and verifying patient information as needed
Help maintain a clean and organized back office, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is ready for use
Support team members with additional administrative tasks when needed
Qualifications:

Prior experience as a dental assistant required
RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification is a plus
Strong knowledge of back office dental procedures
Ability to assist in front office duties such as phone answering, scheduling, and patient coordination
Strong communication skills and ability to multitask
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
Bilingual is a plus
Work Schedule:

Part-time: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9:00AM-5:00PM, one Friday out of the month 8:00am-5:00pm with the potential for additional hours as the practice grows.
