Full Time Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Columbia, MDWe are seeking a reliable, motivated dental assistant to join our growing practice. This full-time role supports a busy, patient-focused dental office that provides General, Orthodontic, PPO, and Private care. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a professional environment and helping create a positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities include assisting the dentist during a variety of procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking and processing X-rays, sterilizing instruments, maintaining infection control standards, and supporting overall office flow. Strong people skills and excellent communication skills are essential, as this role involves regular interaction with patients and team members. An X-ray license is required, and while prior dental experience is helpful, we are willing to train the right candidate. Cross-training is not required but is a plus.
This position offers PTO, paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan. The office provides disposable gowns, goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks to support safety and comfort. Additional details include a one-hour lunch break and parking available in a parking lot.
