Dental Hygienist — Part-Time

Bloomfield, NJ

We're a well-established, single-doctor cosmetic and implant dental practice in Bloomfield, NJ seeing PPO and private patients, and we're looking for a licensed, patient-focused dental hygienist to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis.

Schedule: Wednesday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. These two days do not need to be covered by the same person — we're open to one hygienist covering both, or two hygienists each covering one day.

What you'll do:

Perform prophylaxis, scaling, and periodontal maintenance for a mix of PPO and private patients
Take and review digital x-rays and update patient charting
Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment options, and home care
Screen for oral health issues and flag findings for the doctor
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully sterilized operatory
Help make every patient visit comfortable and positive, with a genuine focus on patient service

What we're looking for:

Active New Jersey RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) license, required
Current CPR/BLS certification, required
New graduates welcome — no minimum years of experience required
Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator who works well independently

Compensation: $55–$65 per hour, based on experience.

We're a fully digital, well-established practice equipped with digital x-rays, laser dentistry, CBCT imaging, intraoral scanners, an in-house 3D printer, and a milling machine — giving our team hands-on experience with some of the most advanced technology in the field.
