PT Hygienist 2-3 days/week

We are a small, well-established dental practice seeking a compassionate and skilled dental hygienist to join our team. With a strong emphasis on patient care and staff satisfaction, we pride ourselves on our friendly staff and relaxed office atmosphere.
As a part-time dental hygienist, you'll play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. The position offers flexible hours, with full-time staff working Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 4 PM, including a one-hour lunch break between noon and 1 PM. You will typically see one patient at a time, allowing you to focus on delivering personalized care. Your responsibilities will include performing cleanings and treatments for both adults and children, with appointment durations of approximately 50 minutes for adults and 30-40 minutes for children.
Our practice focuses on general dentistry and operates under a single-doctor model, utilizing PPO insurance. As part of our commitment to safety, we provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, nitrile gloves, regular masks, and lab jackets.
We seek a candidate proficient in essential skills, including calculus removal, scaling and root planing, fluoride treatments, and oral cancer screening. Familiarity with tools like the Cavitron, Ultrasonic Scaling, Dentrix, iTero, and ScanX is beneficial, but we are happy to train new graduates who have a passion for patient care and a desire to grow.
In addition to a competitive hourly rate of $38-42, our dental hygienist will enjoy benefits such as paid time off (PTO), a uniform allowance, and a continuing education (CE) allowance.
This position is open due to the upcoming retirement of our long-standing dental hygienist, and we are excited to welcome a new team member who shares our commitment to providing exceptional dental care.
