Pediatric Dental Assistant
LOCATION
New York, NYWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented dental professional to support a busy pediatric dental practice. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and helping create a positive, comfortable experience during dental visits. The office is a pediatric setting focused on providing quality care in a friendly, organized environment.
Responsibilities include assisting the provider during examinations and procedures, preparing and sterilizing instruments, and maintaining a clean and efficient treatment area. Clinical duties will also involve taking x-rays and supporting a variety of pediatric treatments, including sealants, fillings, stainless steel crowns (SSC), and extractions. Strong communication skills and a calm, patient-focused approach are important when working with young patients and their families.
Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a dental office and be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting. A high school education is required. Reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
This full-time position includes a 30-minute paid lunch break. If you are motivated, organized, and ready to contribute to a pediatric dental team, this could be a great fit for you.
