Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join a busy general dental practice that values high-quality patient care, teamwork, and professional growth. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services for patients of all ages, with a focus on prevention, education, and overall oral health. You will see one patient at a time, allowing you to provide attentive, individualized care without feeling rushed. Appointment times are structured to support quality treatment, with typically 60 minutes scheduled for prophy and maintenance visits and 90 minutes for new patients and SRPs. A 60-minute lunch break is included in the workday.

Responsibilities include performing dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing as appropriate, taking and evaluating radiographs, charting oral conditions, applying preventive treatments, and educating patients on oral hygiene and home care. You will also collaborate closely with the doctor and front office team to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent communication. Strong attention to detail, excellent chairside manner, and a commitment to patient comfort are highly valued.

This position is open to all levels of experience, including recent graduates and experienced hygienists. Candidates should have a college-level education in dental hygiene and be licensed or eligible for licensure as required. We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, and motivated to grow within a supportive general practice setting.

Compensation for this role is $55–$65 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. We also offer a strong benefits package that includes health insurance, PTO, paid holidays, employee discount, and a 401(k) with match.
