We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team at our established general dentistry practice. Our office, led by Dr. Richard Koeltl, prides itself on providing exceptional patient care and creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
As a part-time Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in our patient care team. You will work collaboratively to deliver the highest standard of dental hygiene services, ensuring that our patients' health and comfort are prioritized. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing, and provide comprehensive oral hygiene education to patients.
- Take and develop dental radiographs when necessary, ensuring the highest quality imaging.
- Assess patients' oral health and provide recommendations for treatment options based on individual needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulations and best practices.
- Educate patients about oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist, preferably in a general dentistry setting.
- Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
- Excellent clinical skills and a strong commitment to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team and communicate effectively with patients.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment:
Our office operates Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a scheduled lunch break from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Each patient is seen for one hour, allowing you to provide personalized care and build rapport with those you serve. We provide onsite parking for your convenience and ensure that all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) is readily available, including disposable gowns, goggles, latex gloves, and regular masks.
