Part time Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced dental professional to join our established general dentistry practice in a part-time role. This opportunity has become available due to the retirement of our current dental hygienist, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent preventive care and patient education in a well-organized, patient-focused environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to high-quality care. You will work with patients one at a time, allowing you to provide thorough, attentive treatment and build meaningful patient relationships. Appointments are scheduled to support quality care, with approximately 50 minutes reserved for periodic recall visits and 60 minutes for comprehensive exam appointments.

Responsibilities include providing routine prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, oral health assessments, radiographs as needed, and patient education tailored to individual needs. You will also support the dentist in identifying oral health concerns and helping patients understand the importance of preventive care. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential, as you will be part of a team that values efficiency, professionalism, and a positive patient experience.

This is a position in a fee-for-service office that emphasizes personalized attention and consistent clinical standards. We are looking for a candidate with a college-level education and a solid foundation in dental hygiene practice. Prior experience in a general dentistry setting is preferred, along with the ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.

Our office offers a supportive work environment, a one-hour lunch break, and ample free parking in a professional building parking area for added convenience. Compensation is offered at an hourly rate of (70/hr) reflecting the value of your skills and contributions to the practice.
