Dental Assistant / Full-Time & Part-Time

Smile Design Manhattan is a boutique, full-service dental practice where advanced dentistry meets personalized hospitality. We’re seeking an enthusiastic, dependable dental assistant who takes pride in thoughtful patient care, attention to detail, and teamwork. Long-term full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

You’ll work alongside our multi-doctor team across general, cosmetic, restorative, and specialty care. Responsibilities include chairside and four-handed assisting, operatory preparation, digital imaging, clinical charting, patient education, sterilization, infection control, and inventory support. Assistants also schedule appointments in the operatory and collaborate closely with our administrative team to keep patient care well coordinated.

Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent on-the-job training is required; one or more years of assisting experience is preferred. Strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a warm, professional chairside manner are essential. Front-office experience is preferred, not required.

Familiarity with Dentrix, DEXIS, iTero, intraoral cameras, NOMAD Pro, and digital X-rays is preferred. Experience with RAYSCAN CT/panoramic imaging is a plus.

Paid working interviews offer $27–$32 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Compensation for an ongoing position is open to discussion and will be agreed upon before onboarding.

Eligible full-time employees working 32 or more hours weekly receive PTO eligibility after six months of continuous employment. Paid holidays and sick leave are available subject to applicable eligibility. Health-insurance enrollment is available after six months of full-time employment; premiums are initially employee-paid, with employer contributions introduced later under the benefits policy. PPE is provided, and meal and rest periods follow applicable requirements.
