Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our practice full time. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices and procedures, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a comfortable experience for our patients. Potential candidate must be reliable, punctual, and willing to be a team player.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday (8:15am-5:30pm) with 1 hour lunch break
Education and Experience:
Dental Assisting certified (Required)
1 year experience in the dental setting (Preferred)
Customer service 2 years (Preferred)
Front Desk experience is a plus!

Duties
As a Registered Dental Assistant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
-Assisting Hygienist with charting/x-rays, etc
-Performing medical imaging tasks, including X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
-Maintaining infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
-Engaging in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
-Supporting the dentist in endodontic treatments and other general dentistry tasks.
-Educating patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.
Skills
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
-Strong understanding of general dentistry practices, including infection control measures.
-Experience with four-handed dentistry to provide optimal assistance during procedures.
-Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
-Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage patient records efficiently.
