Hygienist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled dental hygienist to join our private, single-doctor practice. This part- time opportunity is ideal for a professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional preventive care and enjoys building trusted relationships with patients of all ages. Our team is dedicated to providing customized treatment in a supportive, comfortable environment where patient education, communication, and clinical excellence are equally valued.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive hygiene care with a strong focus on prevention, diagnosis, and maintenance of oral health. Responsibilities include performing dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, scaling and root planing as appropriate, taking digital imaging as needed, documenting findings accurately, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and home care. You will work closely with the doctor and clinical team to ensure each patient receives individualized care aligned with their specific needs and long-term goals.

We are a fee for service dental practice and allow one hour for our prophy patients. Our practice emphasizes a modern, technology-driven approach to dentistry, allowing us to deliver precise, lasting outcomes. Patients are actively involved in the planning process so they can better understand their treatment options and feel confident in their care. We routinely support patients with a range of needs, from routine preventive services to more complex restorative and oral surgery-related cases, all while maintaining a calm and reassuring atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a dental office and a strong understanding of general dentistry and oral surgery procedures. A college-level education in dental hygiene and current licensure are required. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to excellence in patient care. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed are essential.
