Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Billing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental billing and insurance, with at least 3 years of experience in a dental office setting. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage all aspects of dental billing and insurance processing.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all insurance claims: submission, follow-up, and appeals.
• Process pre-authorizations and predeterminations.
• Post and reconcile patient and insurance payments accurately.
• Verify insurance benefits and coverage for patients.
• Communicate with patients regarding balances, statements, and financial questions.
• Maintain organized billing records and documentation.
• Work closely with front desk and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate billing.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in dental billing and insurance coordination.
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance, EOBs, CDT codes, and billing procedures.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix experience a plus).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, insurance companies, and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
