Cross-Trained Dental Assistant / Front Office Associate

We are looking for a cross-trained Dental Assistant / Front Office Associate to join our growing team in Lombard, IL.

Benefits
$1,000 Sign-On Bonus ($500 after 3 months, $500 after 6 months*)
*Bonus must be repaid if employment ends before 12 months

Compensation
$25 – $30 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
(Clinical and non-patient days may vary; Wednesday schedule flexible)

Approximately 30–35 hours per week

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist by preparing instruments, materials, and operatory setup for all procedures

Sterilize instruments and disinfect rooms in compliance with OSHA, CDC, and infection-control standards

Seat and dismiss patients, review post-op instructions, and assist with sedation monitoring

Support front office operations: check-in/out, scheduling, and treatment plan coordination

Educate patients on treatment options and post-care instructions

Help maintain efficient patient flow and clinical readiness throughout the day

Requirements & Preferred Skills
Must have both Dental Assistant and Front Desk experience

Must know and have experience with Open Dental software - HIGHLY prefered

Minimum 3 year of experience in general dentistry required

Knowledge of general, endodontic, and implant procedures — required

Experience with intraoral scanning (CEREC, iTero, or similar)

Experience designing same-day crowns using CEREC Prime Mill — preferred

IV sedation experience and/or certification — highly preferred

Coronal polish certification — required

Experience using Canon patient cameras — preferred

Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and adaptable to new systems

Must be reliable, professional, and maintain a positive attitude in fast-paced environments
