Duties
Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures including prosthodontic dentistry, implants, oral surgery, cosmetic and general dentistry with precision and professionalism
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all materials are ready for patient care
Take digital dental X-rays and 3D scans while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection prevention management protocols
Manage patient records using Dentrix software. Document medical history, vital signs, and treatment details accurately
Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow and patient comfort
Educate patients on oral health care practices, pre op and post-treatment instructions to promote ongoing wellness
Maintain strict adherence to clinical confidentiality policies and infection control standards in line with healthcare regulations
Qualifications
Valid registration as a Dental Assistant (RDA) with current state licensure required along with valid CPR.
Proven experience in dental assisting within a specialty or general dentistry practice preferred
Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix for medical documentation and records management
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental instruments, equipment operation, and sterilization procedures
Skilled in taking dental X-rays (including dental x-ray techniques), CBCT, and utilizing a 3D scanner when necessary
Familiarity with infection prevention management practices including aseptic technique and dental sterilization procedures
Ability to perform vital signs measurement and assist with implant and oral surgery procedures confidently
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members including office manager, front office coordinator and other healthcare professionals
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Monday - Friday
Fridays 1/2 day and off weekends!
