Dental Hygienist
LOCATION
Sterling, VAWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental professional to join our growing general dentistry team at an exciting time of expansion. This full-time opportunity is available as we open a new location, offering the chance to help establish a patient-centered practice from the ground up in a supportive and well-organized clinical environment.
In this role, you will provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic care to patients of all ages while maintaining a calm, welcoming, and professional chairside manner. You will work with one patient at a time, allowing you to focus fully on delivering thorough care and building trust with each individual. Responsibilities will include performing routine cleanings, polishing, scaling, taking and reviewing x-rays as appropriate, applying preventive treatments, educating patients on oral hygiene, and supporting the overall efficiency of the dental team. Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care are essential.
We are looking for someone with 2 years of experience in a dental office setting and a solid understanding of general practice procedures. A college-level education in dental hygiene or a related field is expected. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced yet patient-focused environment.
This full-time position includes a 30-minute lunch break and offers free on-site parking for added convenience. To support safety and compliance, the office provides disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks.
