7:15 AM morning huddle | 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
1-hour lunch break
Tuesday & Thursday
7:15 AM morning huddle | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
30-minute lunch break

What You’ll Do
As a Dental Hygienist at Makowski Dental, you’ll play an important role in both patient care and education. Responsibilities include:
Perform comprehensive patient screenings, including oral health assessments, medical history review, oral cancer screenings, head and neck examinations, charting, and vital signs
Take digital radiographs
Provide excellent preventive hygiene care, including proficiency with Cavitron and Prophy Jet
Perform periodontal charting and assess hard and soft tissues
Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluoride
Take impressions when needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene, brushing, flossing, nutrition, and maintaining optimal oral health
Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit
Accurately document existing restorations, decay, periodontal conditions, and recommended treatment
Follow practice protocols for infection control, biohazard safety, quality assurance, referrals, implants, periodontal care, and emergency procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile treatment environment
Build positive, trusting relationships with patients and contribute to a great overall patient experience

What We’re Looking For
Active Colorado RDH license
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and patient education skills
A compassionate, positive attitude
Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in providing outstanding patient care
