Dental Assistant

An established private dental practice is seeking a skilled and mature Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. We are looking for someone with a minimum of two years of experience who is confident in chairside assisting for general dentistry, oral surgery, sedation, and orthodontics.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the doctor chairside, ensuring optimal visibility and a clean, organized work area.
* Set up and break down rooms efficiently for each procedure.
* Keep records of patient's vitals and sedation.
* Take digital X-rays and CBCT scans as needed.
* Fabricate temporary crowns, pack cord, seat crowns, and clean cement, remove sutures.
* Perform scanning, impressions, and retraction for enhanced procedural visibility.
* Take intra oral and extra oral pictures for orthodontics.
* Keep accurate records of treatment and assist in treatment planning and phasing.
* Communicate with the front office to schedule patient follow-ups and maintain an efficient workflow.
* Ensure patient comfort and provide clear post-treatment instructions.
* Maintain a high standard of infection control and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications:
* Active RDA license in good standing.
* CPR and OSHA training (current certification required).
* Strong knowledge of dental procedures, materials, and terminology.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A team player with a patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills.
