Licensed Dental Hygienist - Private Practice

We are a small, friendly private dental practice seeking a skilled licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are looking for someone with great personal and technical skills. We are a low stress but busy office with one doctor. Office hours are Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch. We utilize new cavitron/jet units, sirona digital x-ray sensors and digital pan. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health and patient care, with a strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. Willingness to work as a team and help where there is a need.

Duties:

- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentist during examinations
- Perio maintenance and scaling and root planing
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Comfortable working with nitrous
- Sealants
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Stocking, organizing and cleaning office as needed

Requirements:

- Valid Minnesota Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR Certification
- Proficiency in medical terminology and infection control protocols
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and dental terminology
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar practice management systems
- Ability to operate medical imaging equipment effectively
