Dental Assistant

We are seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join our periodontal practice on Mondays and Tuesdays. We are very proud of the high level of service we provide to our patients as well as the relationships that we build. Our office emphasizes patient comfort, care, communication, and respect. If you are a motivated, hard-working individual who enjoys working in a team-friendly, and drama free environment then this is the position for you. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared beforehand.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical and dental histories.
Manage infection control procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Assist with procedures as needed, including but not limited to: implants, grafts, extractions, etc.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
Cleaning and setting up operatory rooms in between patients.
Sterilization and organization of dental instruments, restocking of rooms, and limited assisting with dental hygienists.
May have travel days to McMinnville 2-3 days a week (mileage compensated.)

High school diploma: graduating from dental assistant school is preferred but not required
Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA, Phlebotomy.) Higher pay will be reflected. We can help with certification if needed.
