We are seeking an experienced Dental Insurance & Treatment Coordinator to join our front office team and play a key role in patient care, communication, and treatment acceptance.
Position Overview:
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients understand their treatment and insurance benefits while keeping systems organized and accurate. You’ll serve as a critical bridge between providers, patients, and insurance companies—ensuring clarity, confidence, and a smooth experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Insurance Coordination-
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility
Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims and pre-authorizations
Resolve claim denials and discrepancies
Post insurance payments and adjustments accurately
Clearly communicate insurance coverage, limitations, and patient responsibility
Treatment Coordination-
Present treatment plans and review financial options with patients
Answer patient questions with empathy and confidence
Coordinate treatment scheduling with providers and clinical staff
Maintain accurate documentation in Eaglesoft
Support case acceptance through education and clear communication
Front Office Support-
Collaborate closely with doctors, assistants, hygienists, and management
Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
Assist with patient calls and front desk needs as required
Qualifications-
1–2+ years of experience in dental insurance and/or treatment coordination
Strong working knowledge of PPO dental insurance plans
Experience with Eaglesoft preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dental environment
