Part-time Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and personable dental hygiene professional to join a growing general, single-doctor, private dental practice. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative setting and values building strong relationships with patients and team members alike. Our office is currently expanding and looking for an outgoing, team-oriented individual to help support our continued growth. This position is available as a result of the current dental hygienist’s retirement, creating an excellent opportunity to step into an established role within a supportive practice.

The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality preventive care while maintaining a positive and professional chairside presence. You will work with one patient at a time and typically spend 45 minutes with each patient, allowing you the time needed to provide thorough hygiene services and patient education. This role requires comfort working independently while also communicating effectively with the dentist and support team to ensure excellent patient care.

No prior experience is required, making this a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to begin a career in a private practice environment. A college-level education in dental hygiene or a related field is expected. We value professionalism, clinical competence, and a friendly approach to patient interactions.

Responsibilities include performing routine dental hygiene procedures, documenting patient information accurately, reinforcing oral health instruction, and supporting the overall flow of the practice. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient comfort are essential.

This is a full-time position with a rotating Saturday schedule, including two Saturdays per month from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

For safety and infection control, the office provides disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, nitrile gloves, and regular masks.
