AR and Billing Specialist
Join our dynamic and growing dental practice as a AR and Billing Specialist! We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to become an integral part of our team, specializing in oral surgery and multi-specialty care.
In the position of billing and accounts receivable specialist you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and expertise, work independently, as well as be a key contributor in our billing and collects department. You will be responsible for submitting patient claims to insurers, working with pre-determinations, and appeals. You will also be responsible for the patient and some insurance accounts receivable oversight for the clinics as well. Strong insurance experience is needed for this position!
Candidates must have an extensive understanding of dental and / or medical terminology and procedures, be competent with insurance coding / billing processes and procedures, working experience with ICD-9 / ICD-10 codes, accounts receivable and treatment planning.
Attention to detail is a must!! Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Must have strong customer service skills and the ability to successfully interact with patients and members of the team at all levels (including the surgeons). A friendly, energetic, "work together attitude" are characteristics that we are looking for in an applicant that is going to fit into our Business Office Team.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a dental front office role. A high school diploma is required, and proficiency in dental terminology and insurance processes will be advantageous. We provide on-site parking for your convenience and offer a 30-minute to 1-hour lunch break.

The hourly pay for this position ranges from $24.00 to $27.00, depending on experience.
