We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our thriving general dental practice. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the oral health of our community, ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of care in a welcoming environment. We pride ourselves on our mission to provide accessible, quality oral health services to all individuals, utilizing an income-based sliding fee scale and participating with MaineCare to ensure no one is left without proper care.

In this full-time position, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team of dental professionals to promote optimal oral health. Your responsibilities will include performing comprehensive dental cleanings, taking patient histories, administering periodontal assessments, and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices. You will also assist in the application of preventative materials and work alongside our dentists to ensure seamless patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient-centered care, demonstrating compassion and respect for every individual. An associate degree in dental hygiene from an accredited college, along with a valid state hygienist license, is required. Experience in a general dentistry setting is preferred, but we value enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and grow within our practice.
