Dental Assistant or EDDA

Colorado Dental Group is a family dental practice located near the Garden of the Gods that is growing and seeking an experienced Dental Assistant or EDDA to join our team. We are a fun, energetic, and cohesive team led by a fantastic dentist who has been with our practice for over ten years. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Rate: $20-$24/hr, plus daily bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:
*Assist the dentist chairside
*Genuinely welcome patients into the practice - make them feel at ease
*Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
*A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
*Set up and break down of operatories
*Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory daily
*Present and enter treatment plans into Denticon
*Provide post-operative instructions
*Sterilization of instruments according to regulations
*Stocking supplies, ordering supplies, and any additional duties as necessary

Requirements:
*2+ years of experience as a chairside dental assistant
*X-Ray Certification is required
*CPR Certification is required
*CDA is preferred
*EDDA Certification is preferred
*Denticon experience is a plus but not required
