We are a small but busy fee-for-service general dentistry practice located in charming downtown Southern Pines. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional looking to make a significant impact on patient care in a supportive and engaging environment.

As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care through various essential procedures that add tremendous value to our practice. Your primary responsibilities will include performing thorough dental cleanings, periodontal screenings, and providing guidance on oral hygiene practices. You will also utilize advanced techniques such as scaling and root planing, antimicrobial placement, and Arestin therapy to promote optimal dental health among our patients.

To thrive in this role, you should possess strong clinical skills including experience with Cavitron and ultrasonic scaling, as well as proficiency in dental charting and utilizing technologies such as Dentrix, DEXIS, and intraoral cameras. You will be a key player in our treatment planning and patient education processes, ensuring that our patients feel informed and cared for during their visits.

Our well-equipped office provides all necessary personal protective equipment including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex and nitrile gloves, N95 masks, regular masks, and scrub caps to ensure your safety and comfort while working.

A minimum of 6 months of experience is preferred, but we are open to candidates with strong dedication and eagerness to learn.
