We're looking for an upbeat, professional, and reliable Traveling Dental Assistant to join our multi-specialty practice, serving patients of all ages. If you have experience assisting with IV sedation and oral surgeries, we encourage you to apply today!

Position Type
Part-Time / Full-Time: 3-4 days per week

Pay
Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities
-Assist the dentist during various procedures, including IV sedation and oral surgeries
-Explain office procedures to patients prior to treatment
-Provide compassionate care before, during, and after treatment
-Manage patients during procedures
-Accurately chart pre-existing conditions and input progress notes
-Deliver post-op instructions following surgery or restorative procedures
-Take impressions for study casts
-Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment
-Take and develop x-rays; collect and record health histories
-Serve as infection control officer: develop protocols and sterilize equipment
-Monitor and follow up on equipment and handpiece repairs
-Complete daily/weekly/monthly tasks (e.g., autoclave testing, trap cleaning)
-Assist with monthly supply orders
-Support recall and treatment plan reports when requested
-Adhere to all government and company regulations
-Provide direct patient care across specialties including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery

Qualifications
-Experience in customer service and strong computer skills
-Upbeat attitude and outgoing personality - a must!
-Ability to multitask effectively
-Team player with reliable transportation

-Dental assisting experience in IV sedation and oral surgery
-Excellent chairside manner
-Adaptability to different techniques and patient needs

-Commitment to following policies and procedures
Bilingual candidates are a plus!
