We are seeking a skilled and personable dental hygienist to join our busy General Dentistry practice. This is a full-time opportunity in a professional, team-oriented setting that serves a diverse patient base in a multi-doctor environment. Our office accepts PPO and private patients, providing a steady and varied schedule of preventive and periodontal care. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality clinical care, supporting patient education, and contributing to a positive and efficient dental experience.
In this role, you will perform a range of hygiene services consistent with general dentistry, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing as directed, full-mouth charting, oral cancer screenings, radiographs, and patient assessments. You will also educate patients on proper oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations, helping them understand the importance of maintaining long-term oral health. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach are essential, as you will work closely with patients who may have varying levels of dental knowledge and comfort.
Our practice values professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail. The right candidate will be comfortable collaborating with multiple doctors and clinical team members, managing time effectively, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment. A college-level education and appropriate dental hygiene credentials are required, along with a strong understanding of infection control, sterilization protocols, and modern hygiene techniques.
We are committed to maintaining a safe and well-equipped workplace. Personal protective equipment is provided and includes goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. We expect all team members to follow safety standards and contribute to a clean, organized clinical environment.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a patient-first mindset, a strong work ethic, and a desire to build lasting relationships within a growing practice. Experience in general dentistry is preferred, and familiarity with multi-doctor office operations is highly valued. If you are motivated to provide exceptional preventive care and want to be part of a supportive dental team, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a stable full-time role.
